How to Submit Music to SCMRADIO.COM

YOU MUST HAVE AN ARTIST ACCOUNT ON SCMRADIO.COM TO SUBMIT MUSIC.

Due to the high volume of artists submitting music to SCMRADIO.COM, we have come up with this fair system for artists who are truly promoting their music and trying to make money off their God given talent. Here are the steps to have your music played on SCMRADIO.COM:

1. Create a profile page on SCMRADIO.COM which includes your picture, bio/description and the single you wish to have played on our station.

2. Have your fans to visit your page and rate your music in the area that says 'This Belongs On The Radio". You will need 100 votes from people who want to hear your music, who are pushing for you to be heard on SCMRADIO.COM

3. Promote yourself to the max! I have talked to several program directors in this and surrounding areas and one of the biggest problems we all have with artists is that once they make it into rotation, the do not in return promote the radio station who is playing their music.

You may think to yourself, "Why should I promote SCMRADIO.COM?" The answer is simple, SCMRADIO.COM is a royalty paying radio station who reports to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC AND SOUNDEXCHANGE. SCMRADIO.COM also reports to BDS to track the amount of times your song has been played. Not only that, but SCMRADIO.COM is affiliated with iTunes and Amazon. This means that while your song is being played on our station, listeners can click "buy now" and purchase your song instantly. That's money in YOUR POCKET!!!

GUIDELINES

1. Any music submitted must be original. No mixtape songs will be accepted.

2. Any music submitted must be mastered and of high quality.

3. Please make sure that you do not submit your song as Track1.mp3 or anything similar. You must submit each track with the artist name and the song name in the title. For example, jshields_GetThisMoney.mp3. This way, we can recognize the name of the track with the artist name who submitted the song to ensure that royalties are distributed correctly.

4. Music must not have any host drops or DJ drops anywhere in the song. Any song that contains excess talking before or after the song will NOT be accepted. This includes commercials, shout outs, feature information or anything that calls out contact information, or references to Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc. We have paid advertisement space for such sponsored material.

5. Any music submitted may be clean or explicit. Please keep in mind that it must be tasteful.

6. There is no guarantee that any music submitted will be put into rotation on SCMRADIO.COM. The final decision is of the SCMRADIO.COM program directors and CEOs.

7. No more than one (1) song may be submitted by the same artist in a 30 day period. This ensures that the song you are promoting will get the maximum number of spins. This also maximizes your chances of receiving a substantial amount on your royalty check.
